Stonys has taught and lectured internationally, with film screenings in countries like France, Israel, the US, and Brazil

Danilo Miranda Cares is a cinematographer with international experience across India, Canada, Chile, and Europe. A graduate of the KinoEyes EMJMD in Cinematography, he has built a diverse portfolio in both fiction and documentary filmmaking. Currently based in Lisbon, Portugal, he works as a professor of cinematography and camera operation at Universidade Lusófona, while actively engaging in professional film projects.

Born in Tripoli, Lebanon, Farah Kassem is a Brussels-based filmmaker, editor, and artistic researcher. She completed a Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Filmmaking at DocNomads in Lisbon, Budapest, and Brussels. Farah is currently completing her doctoral research in the Arts at KU Leuven in Belgium and has been co-supervising the Events & Visits course for DocNomads since 2022.

María Goya Barquet is an Ecuadorian cinematographer and artist, trained in Cuba and through the DocNomads program. Her recent project Calls from Moscow premiered at Berlinale 2023 and MoMA. She has been an instructor at DocNomads-Lisbon since 2022.

She functions as an intermediary between the Partners and EACEA, and performs tasks related to the administrative, legal and financial matters of the programme. Miguel Cardoso has been a lecturer at CIEE and FCSH – UNL and teaches in the DocNomads program since 2013. Kairys is also the author of two books, Further than the Ocean (2019) and Yura Yura (2024).

Tarun Madupu is a sound designer, filmmaker, and film researcher originally from India. In his role as an arts-based researcher, he is affiliated with the media research units CICANT and FilmEU.
